Reference Sires:
Florestan I

Fidelio B - Raute B. - Rheingold

Over 24 approved stallion sons, 37+ States Premium daughters. Florestan I was the champion of the 1988 Rhineland approval.  He absolved his performance test in Warendorf in 1989 as Champion.

Florestan I has proven himself to be a fantastic sire.  His first foal crops have already produced over 50 approved stallion sons.  His offspring are noted for their excellent ridability, and are bringing in huge sums at the major auctions.

His dam, Raute, is a proven show mare in the Rhineland area.  At the age of 3 she was champion mare of her age group.  In 1983 she won her class at the German Mare show in Verden, and in 1986 she was champion junior mare at the federal show in Aix-la-Chapelle.  Raute produced his full brother, Florestan II.

Traces of the Anglo-Norman, Furioso II, were left in practically all of the German and European riding horse breeds. In North Rhine Westphalia, his son Fidelio played a predominate role in spreading his sire's genes through his sons, Florestan I and II. Florestan I, born in 1986, was especially influential. His first crops produced numerous approved sons, many State Premium daughters and several German Championship participants, all of which have given him an excellent reputation. His off-spring, all of which are very rideable, were also welcome additions to the NRW riding horse auctions in Münster-Handorf where they often brought the highest prices.

Florestan I has taken the top position in the FN breeding value ratings for a number of years running.  His offspring are noted as being exceedingly ridable.

In 2004 Florestan sired both the 5-yr and 6-year old World Young Dressage Champions! Florestan has already sired over 50 approved stallion sons!
