Reference Sire:
Harvard
(Hohenstein - Cardinal xx - Ortelsburg)
Approvals:
Oldenburg Verband, Hanoverian Verband, Westfalan Verband
This vice-champion
of the 2000 Oldenburg main premium is the epitome of the upgrader type as
regards his external appearance and Trakehner origins.
His sire Hohenstein is the star of the younger Trakehner breeding stallions.
His first batch of foals already produced Münchhausen, who won his approval
and also performed brilliantly under the saddle i.a., as world vice-champion
six-year old dressage horse in Arnheim. His son His Highness made the national
headlines as the radiant champion stallion at the 2002 Hanoverian approval
in Verden by attaining the unequalled top price of € 515,000.
Following his successful participation in the Federal Championship, Harvard
has meanwhile had placements under the saddle in dressage competitions up
to intermediate class. His striking, true to type hereditary transmission
is demonstrated by numerous elite auction foals and top quality approval
candidates. His son Helly Hansen was approved in Redefin in 2002 and sold
to Sweden as a dressage stallion. A further son received a positive approval
rating in Verden in 2003; pictured at left is a young stallion out of a Donnerhall
dam. Harvard's dam Carina, a daughter of the famed thoroughbred transmitter
of dressage horses, Cardinal xx is a highly proven broodmare who has already
presented the approved stallion Davis Cup and the federal champion Dakapo.
Licensed for Oldenburg, Hanover, Westphalia, the Rhineland and all South German associations.
