Oliver is sired by the Dutch Warmblood stallion Opus, by Idocus. Annually Opus can be found at or near the top of the USDF Leading Dressage Breeding Sire's list. He was the 2006 Leading Dressage Sire.
Oliver's dam was an Oldenburg mare named Will O The Wisp, or "Willow" as she was known on the farm. Oliver was her last foal for us, and she was sold to Minnesota. Willow's sire was the Hanoverian stallion Walk on Top, and her dam was an Oldenburg mare named Giselle, by the Hanoverian stallion Gibraltar.
