Willow joined the mares at Hopeful Farm in 2000, to replace some of the mares we have lost.  She has been inspected into the Main Mare books for the ISR/Oldenburg NA and Rheinland Pfalz-Saar, receiving very nice scores.  She was recently inspected and accepted into the Westfalen Main studbook.

The first stallion we bred Willow is Donnerwelt, who is by the Olympic Gold Medal winning stallion, Donnerhall out of a World Cup I / Bolero / Grande States Premium mare.  Donnerwelt is owned by Langone Farm, and is in dressage training and is working towards Grand Prix.  He was the Number One Hanoverian at Third Level in 2000, and he was fourth Nationally in the USDF Horse of the Year awards at Third Level with a median score of 69.7%.  Donnerwelt was the #2 Horse for USDF Horse of the Year Award in Prix St Georges (with a score of 70%), #6 horse for Intermediare 1 with a score of 68.625, #3 at Intermediare -1 for the Hanoverians.

Deja Vu, 3 Months

Willow was bred for a 2004 foal, to the imported KWPN (Dutch Warmblood) stallion, Hierarch.  Hierarch is a son of Olympic Cocktail, a "Keur" stallion, who also earned the 'Olympic' title with his numerous wins in International Dressage competition.  Hierarch carries the bloodlines of Cocktail, Amor, and Doruto, and he is a decendant of the famous Dutch 'Daula' mare line.

Hierarch is shown below with his Young Rider, Elizabeth Austin. Hierarch is here in the US on breeding lease from Holland. Hierarch participated in the 2004 North American Young Riders Championships and won the Individual Silver Medal!   He will debute in 2005 at Grand Prix.  Hierarch stands at Imajica.

We bred Willow to the Dutch stallion Opus for a 2005 foal.  Opus is sired by Olympic Idocus.

Opus

Opus received the 3rd hightest dressage score in all US Stallion Testing with a score of 140.59! He received the only 9 given in the gaits category (by all 4 judges), and one of only two 10's given in ridability!  Opus has won 2nd place four times at Dressage at Devon.  Opus qualified to 3rd level by 5 years old.

Opus' first stallion son, Ubilee, won the Stallion Performance Short Test in 2004 with an index over 130, and is now lifetime approved ISR/Oldenburg NA.  Ubilee was the 3rd highest scoring stallion of all stallion at the Testing.

Opus is sired by the Dutch stallion Idocus, who was on the 2004 Dutch Olympic Dressage team and competed in Athens.

In 2004 Opus ranked Second in the USEF rankings for Dressage Breeding Sires!  Very good for a young stallion!

Willow's Opus colt, Oleander HF, earned a Gold Premium at his inspection and was the overall Colt Champion with an 8.4 on movement, and 8.2 overall.  He won the Midwest Breeders Group Foal Award - Colt.
