Pedigree 

Lyrical comes from some of the most famous bloodlines in the Oldenburg and Holstein breeding regions in Germany. Her sire, Royal Dance, is a son of Rhodiamant, one of the most well-known and important sons of Rubinstein. Royal Dance's dam was sired by Olympic Donnerhall, and out of a daughter of Welt Cup II. Donnerhall should be considered one of the best stallions of the later half of the 20th Century. He succeeded in bridging top performance results in the dressage arena with outstanding prepotency in the breeding shed. Shown successfully through the Grand Prix Special under Karin Rehbein whilst being trained by the late Herbert Rehbein. At the stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf, Donnerhall achieved the second best result - vice-champion, unbeatable in rideability, with a score of 9.5. 

Lyrical's mother was our foundation mare, La Championita HF, who was sired by the Oldenburg stallion Le Champion. Le Champion is a son of Landadel, who in his short career in breeding left an impressionable mark on both the Oldenburg and Holstiener breed. Landadel, who passed away by accident at a much-too-early age in 1996, was one of the most popular and successful stallions both within and outside of Germany. Hardly another stallion deserves the title of "foundation sire" as this impressive stallion. Considered to be the most outstanding son of the legendary Landgraf I, who himself is one of the top "stallions of the century." Landadel offers a high degree of certainty in his hereditary transmission. He is known for transmitting type, nobility, movement, color, and predisposition for jumping. Landadel was the performance winner in Medingen in 1985. His first foal crops already produced several approved stallion sons. His sons and daughters are sought after today for their hereditary transmissions. Landadel's offspring are victorious in all sectors of the performance scene.

La Championita HF was awarded Verband Premium status at her RPSI inspection, and tied that year for the highest scoring mare of the year. Her mother-line has produced several Verband Premium mares, including Ver. Pr. Replikah HF (half-sister to La Championita HF), and her daughters Vr.Pr. Sophia Loren HF and Vr.Pr. Dekadence. Verb. Prem. St Dekadence has already produced her first Gold Premium foal, a filly named Brokade (by Boleem), continuing this very successful mare-line.

Lyrical is offered for sale. Lyrical is retired from riding and continues to wear front shoes. Lyrical wants to be a Mom! She mothers all the humans she knows and is one of the sweetest mares!
