Horses For Sale

	Ripley (Ascendant xx - Larhaven Silk xx). 11 years old Thoroughbred mare. Ripley is a lovely Thoroughbred, a product of very good breeding. She is beautifully conformed with a pretty and feminine head, good neck, lovely strong topline, and a very nice shoulder position. She also has very good bone and good legs and feet for a Thoroughbred. Ripley was called a 'perfect hunter type' at her inspection. She has a '10' trot for the hunters, and a wonderful canter! Ripley's sire, Ascendant, stood for a number of years at the famous show-jumping farm, Hidden Creek, in Wisconsin, where he produced a number of very famous show hunters including AHSA HOY winners. He has several daughters in the area who are used as hunter broodmares. Ascendant is a great-grandson of Bold Ruler. His breeding also includes Nasrullah (2x), My Babu. and Alibhai, stallions known for producing excellent sport-type Throughbreds. Ripley's dam, Larhaven Silk, descends directly from Prince John, Princequillo, Double Jay, Count Fleet, Alibhai, Blue Larkspur, Teddy; all of them also excellent sport type producers. Ripley has produced 4 wonderful foals for us. She has been bred with fresh and frozen semen and has conceived easily. Open for 2009. Ripley is papered with the PHR, and has been DNA parent verified. She is approved for breeding in the RPSI Main Marebook. Reasonably priced at $2000.

	Accolade HF -- 2008 Premium colt by Abke (Acorado - Contender - Raphael) out of our Oldenburg mare Coeur de Championne HF by Coriander - Le Champion. Born April 26, 2008. Affectionately called "Moose." Stunning bay gelding, with a small star, small front coronet and a hind sock! Sire Abke, 1B Premium stallion (2003), recently won an international Puissance with Felix Ewald in Forst /Lausitz, by jumping over a 2.10 metre wall! The damsire, Coriander, can also be found in many famous jumping pedigrees including that of top stallion Calido I, who has 25+ approved sons, 21 State Premium Mares and 470 offspring in sport.
